Green Obsidian Sphere Sword

Ten inches, with a green obsidian sphere at the pommel, on a three-quarter-inch handle with the crystals set into the grip rather than engraved on the blade. Obsidian is volcanic glass — lava cooled too fast for crystals to form — and the green comes from iron and magnesium held in the melt. Clear green obsidian is uncommon, which is most of why this one looks the way it does. One of a kind.
